“Green Really Is Bloody Good” @Breakfast Club

AHH It’s been three weeks that I have arrived in London, and so far this is my favorite place! Not too expensive, huge amount, and nice atmosphere 🙂 Although I waited for almost an hour and a half to get in, it was manageable since my and my friends haven’t seen each other for a long time and got so many things to just chitchat. I recommend you though to get there early as possible since the line can get really really long…

어느덧 제가 런던에 온 지 3주째… 하지만 음식들 가성비가 너무 별로여서 외식을 함부로 못하고 있답니다. 여태까지 가보았던 식당들 중에 가격대비 정말 짱짱짱인 이 식당! 너무너무 추천해요! 늦게 가면 줄을 엄청 엄처ㅓㅓㅓㅓㅓㅓ엉 기다려야한다는 것만 빼면 가격, 양, 분위기 다 정말 좋습니다. 저는 오랜만에 만난 후배들과 갔기 때문에 이런저런 얘기를 하면서 기다리는 시간을 그나마 잘 버텨냈네요. 그렇지만 다른 분들은 일찍일찍 가시길… 이 브런치 식당 (점심, 저녁 메뉴도 다 있어요~)은 친구가 추천해줘서 간 곳이었는데, 거기서 생각치 못하게 친환경 포인트를 발견했어요 ㅎㅎ 이렇게 이곳저곳에서 sustainability가 주목받고 있고 그런 문화가 활발하게 이뤄지고 있는 것 같아서 좋습니다. 과연 서울은 지금 어느 레벨에 있는지 궁금해지네용! 제가 못 본 사이에 그런 쪽으로도 점차 발달하고 있지 않았을까 내심 기대해봅니다.

VISIT (OR FOODGASM)

Before we talk about what kind of sustainability exists in this gorgeous restaurant, here are some fooooood~~ Enjoy foodgasm here (at least visually). I ordered Huevos Al Benny which is beautifully set up on the dish, and my friends ordered All American, and something Hash Brown. All American is very very classic but has a huge amount!

우선 음식부터 감상해요… 정말 맛있었습니다 ㅠㅠ 저는 Huevos Al Benny를 시켰는데, CIA 요리학교 분들과 자주 만나고 일하다보니 영향을 받았는지 저 계란을 살포시 걷어내고 터뜨릴 때, 후배가 무슨 미식가같다고…ㅋㅋㅋ 이왕 이쁘게 나온거 그렇게 조심스럽게 먹으려 했지만… 나중엔 그냥 성격대로 온 접시에 노른자 다 묻히며 ㅎㅎ

DISCOVERY!

I just unexpectedly found sustainability while looking through the menu. (what a cute design, by the way) Now I think of it, maybe I should have asked more details about which kinds of charitable projects they usually choose… Well, guess I will go here again (to EAT and ask)

바로 이 메뉴판에서 breakfast club만의 친환경 포인트를 발견했어요. 지금 생각해보니, 점원분께 조금이라도 여쭤볼걸 아쉽다는 생각이 드네요ㅠㅠ 다음에 또 가면 되죠 뭐! ㅎㅎ (아기자기한 식당답게 요 디자인도 귀엽구만요)
